ABOUT
The only thing I can be sure of is my desire to stare at Art. Not to look but to stare.
Art became a sacred place where I could stare at something magical as we sometimes stare at the sunset and do not ask for interpretations. Why it makes us feel the way it does?
I gather these feelings and experiences in my writing or short films and want to share them here.
I was born in Saint Petersburg and attended St. Petersburg State University, where I studied Art History. I moved to New York—the city I love sincerely. New York gave me something that no other place or person would ever offer or accept - simply being who you are.
I graduated from Columbia University, majoring in Art History, and finishing my Graduate Program at New York University. Here is my little journal I want to share, my written essays, short films, and podcasts. I approach Art through the realm of poetry and music. I do not ask for interpretations, and I am not confident to give you one except to invite you to stare at Art rather than look, learn from Art rather than learn about Art.
